Thank You Community for Donating to After School Care Program

A message from our After School Care Coordinator, Mary McAllister:

What a difference a year makes! When I arrived at Lowell the after school program shelves were quite bare! With a lot of community support and some upgrading by the Lowell School Districts, the program now has an abundance of supplies to keep the children learning and exploring in after school care!

Thanks to the community who answered our call for supplies! We have a wonderfully stocked and well rounded program! Through the community we we have a very functional sewing corner with 4 sewing machines, all types and sizes of material, patterns and notions! We also have art supplies galore which are well used!

As spring approaches we are hoping to do some more wood working projects so as you clean out your lumber piles and tools we would love some small pieces of wood, clamps, saws, and hand held tools of all kinds!

Thanks again for all the support Lowell/Fall Creek/Dexter folks! We wouldn’t have these full shelves without you!
