On December 2nd students, staff and parents enjoyed pizza and learned about the New Common Core State Standards in Math. Amber Hansen, the Title One instructor, presented information on the standards as well as Kay Graham, Lundy principal. Parents then rotated to classrooms to see just what their children are learning and to experience “Engage New York” math for themselves. The tutorials should definitely come in handy at homework time! With over fifty families in attendance it was an enjoyable and very informative evening.
