Recognizing Lundy’s Community Volunteers

On June 10th, Lundy Elementary conducted it’s last awards assembly for the 2014-2015 school year. There were a lot of great things accomplished this year as evidenced by the awards that our students received. From perfect attendance for the entire year to most improved in math or reading. It was a time to reflect and beam with pride. We also recognized the many community members that help to make Lundy Elementary such a great place to learn and grow. These volunteers (not all of them were pictured) provided countless hours helping in the classrooms, reshelving books in the library, going on field trips, photocopying for teachers, providing enlightening activities and art projects as well as helping with events like our vision and dental screenings, family activity nights and productions as well as our robotics club, Oregon Battle of the Books and yearbook. We can not thank them enough but they are surely appreciated by all of the staff, administration and students her at Lundy–Thank you again for your dedication and service to our school! If you are interested in volunteering in our school or helping with activities, contact the office for a packet 541-937-2105.
