The Outreach department at the University of Oregon, Brain Development Lab, sent scientists Lauren and Keira to present for grades two through six, on how the brain works. The presentation included a lively overview of brain structure and functions and explained the type of research being conducted in the UO Brain Development Lab. Dazzled students donning gloves were given several demonstrations and had an opportunity to view and touch preserved animal and human brain specimens. Lundy certainly has some young scientists in the making!
