Why Mountain View Academy?

Mountain View Academy is a Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade, public, charter school within the Lowell School District. Our structured program believes that character education is the foundation for a quality education. We offer a 4-day school week with educational and activity field trips one Friday a month.

We are an advanced program that strives to build relationships with students and families, provides a well-rounded education, and challenges students through ability grouping. We believe that parents play an important role in their child’s education; MVA families are incorporated into our education model through monthly volunteering.

Electives are offered on Thursday afternoons for students who have completed their work.

A well-rounded curriculum, including; spelling, penmanship/cursive, history, art, social emotional learning, character education, and hands on science.

Our middle school curriculum includes foreign language, personal finance, Social – Emotional Learning, and advanced math classes.

Parent involvement is a key part of our program – parents at Mountain View Academy volunteer two hours per month.

Monday – Thursday school week with a Friday field trip once a month.

Public, charter school – tuition free.
