Lowell Team Camp 2025 has concluded! It was hot, it was tiring, and it was a ton of work for everyone, players, coaches, school staff, volunteers and parents.
It was also awesome! Lowell Community - You have great kids! The thing as a coach and educator I love about team camp is it really makes our student athletes look adversity in the eye and battle through it. That’s something we all have to do in life and learning how to deal with it now will make for better adults.
We had 31 kids at camp, the most of any of the 9 teams that were there. Our kids were willing to step up to any challenge and meet it head on.
There are too many people involved to make this thing happen to thank everyone, but I do want to say thank you to a few.
The Lowell Volleyball team has made a dinner for us every year of camp so far and served to all the teams. This year was no different and even had to make some last minute changes and came through with an awesome dinner for the kids at camp.
The entire Maintenance and Custodial team at Lowell! They are just so supportive of this camp and making it happen. It’s a ton of added work on them and never have they complained, they are encouraging of us holding it and just awesome people to work with!
Racheal Johnson - She served dinners, ran the snack bar for kids and just worked like crazy all week to make sure campers had plenty of food and beverages.
Coaching Staffs from Lowell, Creswell, Corbett, Culver, North Douglas, Bandon, Gold Beach, Myrtle Point, Illinois Valley - These coaches all care deeply about their programs and did a great job of making camp great for themselves and everyone else!
Greenberry Industrial for sponsoring camp this year - They bought a meal for 200 people this year to help make camp that much better!
Competitive Athletic for sponsoring camp and coming out to help set up and get camp off to a great start! This is a great place to buy any of your athletic supplies, they have really stepped up to support Lowell Athletics over the last year!
