Hello Lowell Families and Community,
Getting tired of figuring out what to have for dinner….every single night?? Let Lundy and Panera make it easy for you. On December 13, Panera is partnering with Lundy to raise funds for the elementary students. It is a win for everyone! Drop by Panera from 4:00-8:00pm (don’t forget to show them the flyer) and forget about cooking dinner. Then the students of Lundy receive 20% of profits to fund great field trips, activities, and positive behavior rewards!
The Lundy 6th grade is sponsoring a friendly competition between all of the elementary classes! Each class is competing to donate to Greenhill Humane Society to help take care of our four legged friends! The class that collects the most donations will win a holiday party hosted by the 6th grade! To help both your favorite grade and our pets in need, please send your items with a student or drop them off in the Lundy office. Please see the flyer created by the students for more details!
Spirit week is headed our way! Start preparing your Christmas sweaters, plaid, holiday accessories, pajamas and candy cane stripes! Be on the lookout for the detailed schedule of all events.
Blood donations are needed year-round, but they’re most critical during holidays when donations
drop and fewer people have time to donate. Make blood donation for December 15 th at Lowell High School Blood drive part of your holiday plans. It only takes an hour to make a difference. The Blood Mobile will be parked in the north parking lot in front of the gymnasium. Click this link to schedule your opportunity to give: Blood donation appointment.
The Lowell Jr/Sr High Winter Concert will be held on Tuesday, December 16, at 7:00pm in the Cafetorium. Everyone is invited to attend!
A reminder that Lowell School District offers free breakfast and lunch to all students at Lundy, Mountain View Academy and Lowell Jr/Sr High. If you are in need of other resources for food and free meal sites, please visit https://www.foodforlanecounty.org/food/pantries-and-meal-site-locations/.
As we move towards the holidays, families that are expecting or with young children may find the Early Childhood Family Resources page helpful for finding childcare or other support!
Stay safe, healthy, and kind!
