Hello Lowell Families and Community,
The Holiday Spirit was alive and well in the halls of Lowell School District! From spirit dress up days to holiday door decorations the students and staff went all out to make it a fun and festive season for all! Lowell Jr/Sr High held assemblies each day to encourage the holiday spirit. Santa Todd made an appearance on Thursday to delight everyone!
The Lundy 6th Grades sponsored a contest between the classes to see who could collect the most donations for the animals at Greenhill Humane Society. The numbers are in! They collected 296 pounds of food, 38 leashes and collars, 26 bowls, 51 toys, one crate, two beds, and three brushes. The winner of the class party hosted by the 6th grade class was the 3rd grade class with a total of 168 pounds of pet food donations. Congratulations to all the students who participated and especially 3rd grade! And great job 6th grade for such a fantastic event!
