Only two short weeks until Lundy’s next six-week celebration! We are headed to the ice skating rink for some fun on the ice! Be sure to check in with your student to make sure they are on track to attend. If you have any questions at all, please reach out to their teacher.
Do you still have coins laying around the house? Stuck in the couch cushions? Weighing down your purse? Send them on in! Each class is working hard to fill their jars for the fundraiser so that they can win a class party of their choice!
Lowell Jr/Sr High School has officially started senior project presentations this week. We are hosting two presentations each morning, and so far, we have seen eight outstanding presentations. Each project reflects significant research, a job shadow experience, and thoughtful exploration of career interests. It has been a great opportunity for our seniors to engage with the community and gain real-world insight into both education and career pathways. We are looking forward to the remaining presentations over the next week.
The end of Quarter 2/Semester 1 is quickly approaching and will wrap up at the end of the month. This is an important time for students to stay focused and finish the semester strong.
Winter sports are in full swing. Boys and girls high school basketball are entering league play, junior high boys’ basketball will have their first game next week, and wrestling continues to compete weekly.
Red Devils of the Week were Kyra Broadhurst, Yaraileth Islas, and Lily Almeida-Savio. We appreciate the opportunity to recognize these students.
