Hello Lowell Families and Community,

Wednesday is the 100th day of school! Lundy will be filled with “100-year-old” staff members that day. We encourage the kiddos to dress up and join in on the fun!

Thursday is Lundy’s annual NED assembly to learn about resiliency and to never give up. If you are interested in purchasing a yo-yo, please stop by the front office or check your students’ backpack for an order form and dates of sale.

On Friday, Lundy has SLUGGO coming to get us excited about reading and baseball! Your student will be coming home with a bookmark to track their reading. Be sure to check with the classroom teacher if they do not receive one.

Lowell hosted a stop on the Lane CTE tour on Thursday February 12. They showcased CTE pathways available to our high school students. We had eight visitors including Lane Education Service District Board representatives and industry representatives. Many of the industry representatives spoke to our students about possible internship opportunities.

Last week's Red Devils of the week were Hunter Vaughn who was nominated for being respectful, and Malaki Nukes who was nominated for hard work at the end of the semester.

Twenty-four Lowell students performed this week at District 10 Honor Band. Grace Nunez-Luis, Warren Tuttle and Nate Waters performed solos during the concert.

Basketball senior night is tonight, Friday, February 13, at the basketball games vs Oakridge. Girls play at 5:30pm and boys play at 7:00pm. Senior Night Ceremonies will take place prior to the start of each game.

It is Spring Sports Season! Registration is open for baseball, softball and track. Click here to sign up.
