Hello Lowell Families and Community,
We have made it through Spring Break, April Fool’s Day, and now we are in the home stretch to the end of the year!
Now that we are seeing the end of the school year on the horizon, attendance is more important than ever! Last month, Mrs. Edgerton had the pleasure of enjoying donuts with 42 perfect attenders! For the month of April, she will be rewarding those that have perfect attendance with cinnamon rolls, so let's see that number increase!
Lundy students had a blast at the movie theatre outing last week! The Cinemark employees shared with Mrs. Edgerton that Lundy was the most polite group they've ever had come through. Nice job Lundy kiddos!
Self-manager applications went out at the beginning of the week. Be sure to ask your student if they earned a badge.
In Mrs. Beckett’s biology class, students built DNA models. This was a great hands-on learning opportunity that helped students visualize how the components of DNA fit together on a larger scale.
Band and choir activities are getting into full swing. Music students are actively preparing for upcoming events in their quest for a State Championship!
Mr. Yarborough’s Introduction to Agriculture classes, both at the junior high and high school levels, have been planting starts for a Mother’s Day sale. Students are growing tomatoes and blueberries with the goal of having them ready for community members to purchase for their gardens.
The end of the quarter is April 9, so this is an important time for students to make sure they have all work turned in. We’ll then transition into the fourth quarter, the final stretch of the school year.
A reminder that Softball against Bonanza is cancelled for Saturday, April 4, 2026. Baseball vs. Bonanza at home will proceed as scheduled.
