Hello Lowell Families & Community,
Is your Lundy student on track for perfect attendance this month? Only two weeks left until the perfect attendees get cinnamon rolls with Mrs. Edgerton!
Please make sure to check out the lost and found located in the Lundy gym. With all the changing weather, we have every type of apparel you can imagine. Claim your items before they are donated.
Teacher appreciation week is right around the corner, and we always love to spoil our Lundy teachers. If you have anything you would like to donate (gift cards, treats, etc.), please reach out to Mrs. Edgerton for details!
For students in grades 3-6, state testing is next month. Classrooms are starting to prepare for and talk about the importance of testing. Please be sure to check in with your child about what their testing schedule will look like. Don't hesitate to reach out to your teacher with any questions you may have.
This marks the first week of Quarter 4. We are in the final stretch of the school year, and are encouraging all students to stay focused and finish strong. Students are strongly encouraged to take advantage of after-school tutoring and connect with their teachers for additional support as needed.
Our choir competed at Springfield High School on Wednesday and represented Lowell in outstanding fashion. Our High School Choir once again earned State Finals-qualifying marks at the District 12 Choir Festival on Wednesday. Surrounded entirely by 5A/6A choirs, our Red Devils still managed to outscore eight of their big school peers! We’re proud of their continued commitment and performance.
Red Devils of the Week are Christina Henshall, Henry Coiner, Ben A. Johnson, and Alaunna Young. These students have demonstrated meaningful growth and/or outstanding behavior over the past couple of weeks.
Family Fun Night take place on April 20, from 5:30-6:30pm in the Lundy Gym and parking lot. Come enjoy some fun science activities and free dinner!
FACT is an organization that empowers families with disabilities and is offering a 6-session virtual training series to help young people with disabilities, along with their families, learn how to manage and make smart choices about money. We encourage youth (14+) and their families to attend together. Click here to learn more and register: FACT Money Skills
We still have an opening on our Lowell SD Budget Committee. Work alongside our dedicated board members to help guide and shape our school budget. Inquire at info@lowell.k12.or.us.
Stay safe, healthy, and kind!
