Sixth graders are headed to outdoor school next week! They will spend three days learning new camping skills, playing games, watching skits, sitting around the bonfire, and socializing with friends. We will see them back on Wednesday!
Jog-A-Thon information is coming home on June 1! Please check your email and your child's backpack for all the details.
We are one week away from celebrating perfect attendance. Donuts with Mrs. Edgerton will be on Friday, May 29, for perfect attenders!
Lowell Jr/Sr High has wrapped up state testing. Thank you to our students and staff for their hard work and flexibility throughout the testing process.
Students have started forecasting for the 2026-2027 school year. They are learning about required courses and exploring elective options as they begin planning their schedules.

We celebrated our State Champion Band with a school wide assembly. We also recognized Nate Waters for his individual State Championship achievement. Students and staff enjoyed celebrating with cake following the assembly.
Our Spring Concert will be held on Tuesday, June 2, at 7:00pm in the cafetorium and will feature both Junior High and Senior High performers. Our community is invited to attend to enjoy and support our student musicians.
Also on June 2, we will be hosting a Signing Day Celebration for our senior student athletes who will be continuing their athletic careers at the collegiate level. The signing assembly will take place in the main gym at 10:00am. We are excited to recognize these students and celebrate their accomplishments.
Today, May 22, we are hosting an in-school cybersecurity field trip organized by Ms. Latta in coordination with University of Oregon computer security experts. Students will have an opportunity to learn more about cybersecurity and related career pathways.
The Ecology class will be taking a field trip to Elijah Bristow Park next Thursday, May 28, for a hands-on outdoor learning experience.
