Custodian day

Dear Lowell Families and Community,

Today is Custodian Appreciation Day! Take a moment to thank a custodian for all the hard work and dedication to our schools!

Lundy Elementary celebrated our students with perfect attendance for the month of September. Ninety-seven students enjoyed donuts and cinnamon rolls with Ms. Edgerton for their accomplishment. Each month Lundy students will receive a special incentive to have perfect attendance.

Lundy 6th graders toured the state capital in Salem this week. They learned all about our state government. Stay tuned for updates from some of our other grades as they frolic in the pumpkin patch and climb the heights of Mt. Pisgah.

Lowell Jr/Sr High had a busy week with spirit days and assemblies to prepare for the big homecoming game and dance. The Lowell Red Devils will take on the Central Linn Cobras tonight at home. Following the game, the students will dance the night away at the Y2K Glow themed homecoming dance in the gym. This year’s homecoming princesses are freshman Ashlyn Baszler, sophomore Yareli Delgado, junior Maddie Quezada, and Seniors Savannah Baszler, Aniah Watson and Jade Clark. The queen will be crowned at half-time of the football game.

Twenty-three juniors and seniors took to the road to visit Ashland during the Shakespear Festival. The group of students watch a performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The students enjoyed the experience and are hoping to go again in the future.

The Red Devils of the Week are Lexi Owsley, Tatum Clark, Tayler Griffin, Kaleb Folck, Izabella Park, and Hunter Harris. A big shout out to these kids for representing Lowell Jr/Sr High and contributing positively to our school community.

Registration is open for the 2026 College Bound Resource Fair for Students with Disabilities. The event takes place on October 17, and space is limited so register now! Register for the College Bound Resource Fair

As always, stay safe, healthy, and kind!
