Senior Spotlight-Desmond Able

In the two years that Desmond has attended Lowell Jr/Sr. High, he has actively participated in both wrestling and football. Desmond is our Senior Spotlight!   He said his best memory of high school was going on the coast trip with Mrs. Beckett and last year’s seniors.  It’s not surprising to understand why Mrs. Beckett was his favorite teacher because, “she was always checking in on me.”  He also remembers the funniest thing that happened to him at Lowell was when Mrs. Beckett “Roasted” him.  Deacon and Alexis are two sophomores who will be greatly missed by Desmond. His advice to underclassmen remains fairly simple:  Don’t slack in school and stay open minded.  He plans to go into the military after graduation and her future plans include becoming a Drill Sergeant or a Federal agent.  Although Desmond’s time at Lowell has been relatively short, he recognizes several, special people who have made his stay memorable:  Mr. Todd, Mr. Cardwell, Ms. Sawitske, and “Gonzo.”
