Senior Spotlight: Julia Donnell

Today we are seeing Julia Donnell in the Senior Spotlight! Julia has attended the Lowell School District for the past nine years. Julia has participated in a variety of activities at Lowell including drama, band, choir, LINK CREW, ASB, Nerd Club, Med Splash, Girls’ State, and GEAR UP Leadership Camp. Additionally she has participated in Lowell High School’s softball, volleyball, and track teams. One of Julia’s latest achievements and best memories at Lowell was when she helped the Lowell Varsity Band win the state championship, making history for the Red Devils! While Julia learned from many great teachers at Lowell, she says her favorite teacher within the last nine years was Mr. Farrier, for making science and math engaging, fun and cool! Julia’s best advice she can give to future students is to “be the best you can be; don’t let anyone tell you different.” Julia aspires to be a radio talk show host. She plans to join the Air Force and earn a degree in broadcast journalism. One of Julia’s funniest memories was when she asked a teacher if she could sharpen her pencil and the teacher, misunderstanding her, said “Yes, you can use the bathroom.” Julia would like to give a shout out to Mr. Burch, Mr. Farrier, Ms. Cassie, Mrs. B., Coach Todd, Coach Brian, Ms. Kandi, and all her friends from her time at Lowell. Congratulations Julia!
