Senior Spotlight: Monica Guzman-Fields

The focus of today’s Senior Spotlight is Monica Guzman-Fields! Monica has attended Lowell High School for five years and loved playing on the volleyball team. She cherishes having had the chance to be a part of a school where everyone is friends with each other. She will especially remember the fun shared with friends and everything that made them laugh until they cried! Monica’s favorite teacher was Coach Todd, and she will miss going to school with her sister. (While they will still see each other at home, it just isn’t the same as bickering and joking in the hallways together.)  Her advice for future students is not to procrastinate school work! “If you feel like you’re too stressed with work, take a break and have a minute to yourself to focus. Always ask for help if you need it because the teachers are willing and happy to help you with anything. They will go above and beyond to help you succeed, so just speak up and you’ll find doing school work much easier for yourself.” After graduation Monica plans to become a vet technician. She also hopes to explore new places, especially Yellowstone National Park.  She would like to give a shout out to her entire volleyball team and her coach, Kristen: “The last four years were the best with you guys and I can’t wait to be in the stands for future games!” Congratulations, Monica!
