Senior Spotlight: Paige Griffith

We are pleased to shine the senior spotlight on Paige Griffith.  Paige has been at the high school for the past 2 years.  Paige fit in easily at Lowell and has been the poster child for tenacity and grit as she was able to graduate with her peers despite having to overcome some serious health concerns. While she has worked hard academically, she also participated in leadership class and helped put on some amazing school and community-wide activities including the Lowell Halloween Carnival which brought a lot of fun and joy into the lives of the Lowell children.  When asked about her best memory at Lowell and favorite teacher, Paige said she had a lot of great memories and could not narrow it down to one.  She made many amazing friends and had too many wonderful teachers to pick just one!  After graduation she will miss seeing her friends every day and laments the memories that she was not able to make with them “because of the stupid virus.”    Paige has some wise words for the future students at Lowell… “Don’t be like me and procrastinate when you have an assignment due by midnight in two days!!”  After graduation, Paige plans on taking a year off to focus on a job and saving money for future schooling.  She would like her future “forever career until retirement” to be in the area of criminal justice or the medical field, but she is not ruling out studying marine biology to work with seals and dolphins.  As a talented student, Paige will be successful no matter where she lands.  Paige would like to give a “shout out” to Ms. Graham for helping her follow a pathway to earn the credits she needed to graduate.    Shout outs also go to “Dustin, Mat, Tykara, and a few more of the seniors for making her senior year so memorable, keeping her sane, and not letting her drop out”.  She would also like to thank her teachers for encouraging her to keep working hard and finish off with a bang!  Lastly, she throws a big THANK YOU to her family for making her get up and go to school!  Congratulations to Paige for overcoming adversity and being such a successful graduate!  Well done!!!
