Senior Spotlight: Hannah Thornton

In today’s senior spotlight we honor Ms. Hannah Thornton.  Hannah joined Lowell High School in the middle of her 9th grade year.  Hannah is an intelligent young lady who has spent much of her free time in Competitive Cheerleading and working several hours a week in addition to her normal academic case load.  She is known far and wide as a student who can balance academics with a robust work schedule.  She has a “can do” attitude and has accomplished much in her high school career.  Hannah’s favorite teacher is Ms. Beckett because she loved the subject matter taught, which was Anatomy and Physiology and Medical Terminology.  Hannah is very family oriented and will miss her cousins (Dustin, Kaylee, Tyler, and Casey) the most after graduation.  One of the funniest things Hannah did while in high school was to place a mannequin head on top of her head, buttoned her shirt up to the mannequin “neck” and allowed herself to be lead down the hallway into the library.  It was very entertaining and caused quite a commotion with kids taking a “double look” at the image.  After graduation Hannah plans to travel and attend school to further her education.  Hannah has researched many career options but has not landed firmly on one of those options just yet.  Her advice to future Lowell graduates is to not “put off stuff until it’s too late to do it”.  Hannah gives a shout out to Ms. Graham and her Grandmother, Ms. May, for helping her finish high school.  Congratulations to Ms. Hannah Thornton for her wonderful accomplishments and her “can do” attitude.  Well done!
