Lowell School District Families,
The Lowell School Board has officially approved the transition to a four‑day school week for the 2026–27 school year. This change will be implemented on a one-year trial basis and evaluated prior to the following school year. The adopted 2026–27 calendars are attached for your review.
Lundy Elementary and Lowell Jr/Sr High School will continue to begin the school day at 8:00 a.m. Release times will shift to 3:30 p.m. for Lundy Elementary and 3:41 p.m. for Lowell Jr/Sr High School.
The district is exploring the possibility of offering a Friday program for elementary students. To help us determine interest and plan appropriately, we ask families to let us know if they would like to participate.
