Senior Spotlight: Brooklyn Anderson
Congratulations to Brooklyn Anderson on her upcoming graduation! Although she has only been with the Lowell School District for one year, Brooklyn has made a massive impact through her extensive involvement in athletics and her positive presence in the classroom.
Her High School Highlights
• Activities & Sports: Cross Country, Basketball, Wrestling, Track-n-Field, and Mountain Biking.
• Best Memory: Meeting her "P.E. gang"—Andrea, Kyra, Peyton, and Maddie P. They were her first friends at Lowell and made her experience ten times better with their fun personalities.
• Favorite Teacher: Mr. Ricci. Brooklyn loved his Government and Economics classes, noting he was always a "ball of joy." She especially enjoyed the fun additions to class like Wordle and CNN.
• Funniest Moment: Getting lost on an unfamiliar Cross Country trail! After missing the 15-minute turnaround mark, she ran for 45 minutes while her teammates, family, and backup searchers looked for her. The team didn't return to that trail for the rest of the season!
Brooklyn’s advice to future students: "Enjoy your time in school while it lasts, because when it is all said and done, you will actually miss being able to go to school with all your friends and not having to worry about the stress of adult responsibilities."
Brooklyn’s immediate plans are to attend Lane Community College to earn her Associate's degree and move into her own apartment.
In the future, she aspires to become a paramedic. She believes she will thrive in the fast-paced, diverse environment of emergency services while giving back to her community.
The people she will miss the most are her close friends Kyra, Gemma, and Jade.

• To Ashlynn: "Thank you for helping me through thick and thin. You are the sole reason I was able to get through high school!"
