Senior Spotlight: Nicholas Baeuerlen
Nicholas Baeuerlen has been a familiar face at Lowell High School throughout his eight years in the district. A dedicated member of the basketball team, Nicholas spent his high school career competing on the court and building relationships across the campus. While he prefers to keep his funniest high school moments and his best memories "classified," it is clear that his time at Lowell was impactful, as he shares that he will truly miss every one of his teachers after graduation.
Among those mentors, Nicholas highlights Mr. Ricci as his favorite teacher, noting simply that "he cool." When it comes to leaving words of wisdom for the underclassmen, Nicholas offers the unconventional and bold advice to "cheat as much as possible"—a testament to his unique sense of humor. As he prepares to close this chapter, he wants to give a special shout-out and a final goodbye to Henry Coiner.
Nicholas is ready to trade his basketball jersey for a military uniform as he looks toward a future of service. His plans for the next three to five years involve joining the United States Navy, where he has set his sights on a high-flying career.
