Rebecca Dean has spent 7 ½ years in the Lowell School District, and she is our Senior Spotlight! Although she describes herself as “not the social type,” her friends were very important to her as was her mentor Cindy Neet. She describes Ms. Cindy as the person she will miss the most. For two years Rebecca was an office aide. She recalls that her time in the office was so helpful and she saw herself as “office lady’s pet.” Rebecca describes her favorite teacher as Ms. S. because she was always someone Rebecca could talk with her. Some of her favorite memories were The Holiday Assembly. Leadership liked Rebecca’s willingness to help plan and set up for the dances. Rebecca said that her special people were all her teachers and staff who taught her so much, and her advice to future students: Make friends and be social. Her future plans include attending the U of O after graduation.
